Participation in the auction via Drouot Digital implies knowledge and unreserved acceptance of the conditions of use of this platform, which are independent and in addition to these general conditions of sale.

Phone auctions are accepted, after copies of a bank account statement and an identity document, but the Auction House declines all responsibility for any connection problems or any failure in the execution of the auction, whatever the reason.

Art. 1 - The aim of the Lausanne SA Auction House is to bring together and interest as many potential buyers as possible to sell goods entrusted to the highest bidder in the name and on behalf of third parties.

Art. 2 - The fact of participating in Internet auctions implies that all buyers or their agents unconditionally accept and adhere to all these conditions of sale. They are deemed to act in their name and on their behalf.

Art. 3 - The auction takes place strictly in cash and without guarantee, its conduct and adjudication is in euros and instantaneously in Swiss francs and other currencies, on the exchange table visible on the Internet.

Art. 4 - The adjudication will be pronounced in favor of the last bidder who will not become the owner of the lot until the time of full payment.

Art. 5 - Payment for purchases can be made by bank transfer directly to the Secours Populaire Français account.

Art. 6 - At the request of buyers, the Auction House may recommend service providers capable of handling, packaging, storage and transport. This recommendation will not be the responsibility of the Auction House. It is the buyer's responsibility to insure the lots as soon as they are awarded, since from this deadline, the risks of theft, loss, damage or others are their sole responsibility. HDV-L declines all responsibility for the damage itself or the failure of the successful bidder to cover its risks against such damage.

Art. 7 - Any litigation relating to this sale is subject to the exclusive application of Swiss law and to the jurisdiction of the courts of the canton of Vaud, regardless of the location of the auction and the domicile of the parties. However, the Auction House shall have the right to act at the domicile or headquarters of the purchaser, or any other competent court. Recourse to the Federal Supreme Court is reserved. From a legal standpoint, the French text of these conditions of sale constitutes the only opposable reference.
